I am a biologist who photographs and writes, while Sue is a biologist who writes, and also photographs. This may seem a subtle distinction, but it is extremely important as being biologists first and foremost means that our art (descriptive nature writing and photography) is driven by a deep love and desire to know and document nature in all its forms.”
