2023 Central illinois camera clubs (cicca) SPRING salon

The Central Illinois Camera Club Association (CICCA) is a regional photographic group including camera clubs from central Illinois and eastern Iowa. Seven of these clubs participated in the Spring 2023 Salon Print and Digital Image competitions. The Kodaroamers in Bloomington, Illinois hosted the competition at St. John’s Luthern Church. This was the first Spring Salon after a temporary hiatus because of the Covid pandemic.

A print competition included small monochrome, large monochrome, small color, and large color prints. The top 33% of prints were accepted for final consideration; the top 11% of prints were assigned honor status. Only one print received a top Medallion designation in each category. A total of 139 prints in the above 4 categories were judged . The CCCC received one honor and five accepted prints! See our club top prints below.

A digital image competition included shots in four categories: nature, photo-realistic, altered reality, and people. The top 33% of prints were accepted for final consideration; the top 11% of prints were assigned honor status. Only one digital image received a top Medallion designation in each category. A total of 411 images were submitted for this digital competition. The CCCC had sixteen images accepted and received one honor. See our top digital images below!
